- Actively manage debtor balances, whilst keeping finance systems (SAP) up to date at all times.
- Following up payment of customer invoices (current and aged) and preparing weekly debtor reports.
- Conduct credit checks on all customers, establish and manage limits.
- Reviewing the department finance inbox, ensuring all queries are cleared regularly.
- Ensure that all vendor invoices are properly recorded, matched with purchase orders, entered correctly in SAP and processed for payment.
- Prepare cash flow report on regularly basis
- Assist the finance team during in month end and year end closing process
- Assist stock controller to manage the stock count and return process
- Collaborate with the team to prepare payment runs for suppliers
- Assisting with the year end audit work
- Ensuring appropriate systems of internal control are maintained and development of and adherence to company procedures
- Support daily accounting duty and perform ad hoc assignment from time to time as required
- SAP experience preferred but not essential
- University degree, accounting preferable
- Previous experience in the role
- Good interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated team player with a positive attitude
- Strong Excel skills
- Organised, detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to work under tight deadlines, in a growing environment
