    The Role As the Head of Production Engineering you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for guiding our production facilities through a significant period of change. Day-to-day, you'll lead on the strategy to design, planning and deployment of automated manufacturing capabilities.

    Lead in the transformation to an industry 4.0 operating environment Lead and direct the engineering platform support teams across sites Develop and manage the supply chain requirements Provide technical and engineering support to the operations team Make recommendations for facility capital expenditures in support of wider strategyThis position involves travel/working across a range of internal and customer sites, as a requirement of the role.

    This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements Experience required of the Head of Production Engineering Strong background in production engineering Experience of introducing advanced manufacturing / automation systems Experience of leading multi-discipline teams Have lead business through change / transformationQualifications for the Head of Production Engineering Degree qualified in relevant engineering subject Chartered engineer status or working towardsSecurity Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
