    Contracts Manager / Project Compliance Manager

    Salary – Upto £55k basic + Company car or Car allowance

    Location – Travelling distance of Leeds (Role will involve travel to sites across the UK)

    About Us: At NEO Property Solutions we specialise in delivering best in class passive fire protection projects across various sectors, including social housing, education, offices, and healthcare trusts. As a leader in our industry, we are dedicated to ensuring the safety and compliance of every project we undertake.

    Position Overview: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Contracts Manager / Project Compliance Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operational delivery of multiple passive fire protection projects (typically 4 projects ongoing at any one time). From leading a team of site-based Technical Compliance Managers and operatives to managing project coordination and ensuring compliance with company policies, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and develop a team of site-based Technical Compliance Managers and operatives, ensuring their ongoing success and development.
    • Coordinate multiple projects from initial survey to completion, including pre-commencement planning and project mobilization, while maintaining P&L responsibility.
    • Maintain outputs in line with commercial and client priorities, employing robust planning and resource management techniques.
    • Assist in preparing instructions for compliance with company policies, site safety management, and quality control.
    • Foster positive relationships with project stakeholders, including senior client representatives and operational teams.
    • Report progress on safety, quality, and commercial aspects as part of key performance indicators internally and with client management teams.

    Requirements:

    • Commercially aware team player with experience in multi-disciplined contract/operational management.
    • Proficient in IT, with past knowledge of CAFM systems.
    • Excellent communicator at all levels with the ability to lead by example and support the development of others.
    • Proven effectiveness in managing teams, recruiting staff, and managing mobilization processes for new contract awards.
    • Experience in occupied property refurbishment works, preferably including fire door installation/upgrade works, completed to high standards, on time, and within budget.
    • Interest in fire protection, with a willingness to learn new technical skills through industry-specific training.

    Desirable Qualifications:

    • Prince 2 Practitioner
    • NEBOSH – National General Certificate or Diploma
    • IOSH Managing Safely
    • NVQ Level 5 in Occupational Health & Safety
    • FIRAS (Supervisory Level)

    Remuneration:

    • Grade 8b role with competitive benefits:
    • Salary Range £44,000 to £55,000 / annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
    • Company Car with fuel card or Car Allowance of £7,200 / annum
    • Generous holiday allowance
