    Consultant – Job Description

    The role is a great opportunity for a candidate to join a fast-growing highly respected knowledge leadership business. As Cavell continues to grow, we want to add to our consulting team and boost our data analysis skills also. It is the opportunity for a self-starter to help develop and grow the business, whilst also working closely in a small growing team and business. The role reports to the Consulting Director of the business, who himself has a strong consulting and data background, so although this is an area of growth for the business there is an opportunity for mentoring and growth.

    Cavell provides insight and knowledge to the technology and telecoms market, working with a broad range of clients from new innovators to more well-known major brands in the UK, Europe, and the USA. Within our portfolio, Cavell offers research reports and consulting services with a particular focus on M&A advice as well as a growing events business. We focus particularly on the transition to IP and cloud services such as cloud communications and collaboration which has become particularly relevant during the pandemic. See our website:

    Cavell's main base of operations is in the UK and our office is in Aldgate, London. There is an opportunity for hybrid working but you would be expected to visit the London office 2 days a week. Also, there will be requirements and opportunities to travel internationally to serve our global customers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    · Support the team on strategy consulting engagements with key telecom service providers and vendor clients by participating in discussions to identify their complex challenges and help draft reports

    · Working on Commercial Due Diligence, Market Reports, and other investment-related projects with key Private Equity and investment clients by gathering market data, client data analysis, and taking responsibility for drafting specific chapters of our deliverable reports

    · Assisting the research team with management and building of market forecast models in Excel

    Qualities and Experience:

    · Minimum of 3 years experience in Consulting or a similar role

    · Data analysis skills, and a competent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (which will be tested)

    · Attention to detail with advanced skills in building client-facing Microsoft PowerPoint presentation decks

    · A team player, with excellent communication skills

    · Articulate and well accustomed to a client-facing role with the confidence to make presentations

    · Be organized, calm under pressure, and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously

    · Exposure to the Technology, Media, and Telecoms (TMT) sector in past engagements
