    DEPUTY CARE MANAGER - SUPPORTED LIVING


    Role Overview: As the Deputy Care Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the supported living services. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day provision of care and support to residents, as well as leading and motivating a team of support staff. Your focus will be on maintaining high standards of care delivery, promoting the independence and well-being of residents, and fostering a positive and inclusive living environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in managing the services and leading support staff.
    • Ensure person-centred care delivery aligned with residents' needs and care plans.
    • Maintain compliance with regulations and company policies.
    • Support staff development and training.
    • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and external stakeholders.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a similar care setting, such as supported living or residential care.
    • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification (desirable).
    • Strong understanding of person-centred care principles and best practices in care delivery.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
    • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks governing social care services.
