And as part of Phoenix Group, we are all about helping people secure a life of possibilities.A critical role in the Marketing Leadership Team within SunLife, the Senior Manager – Marketing Operations will take the lead on the day-to-day coordination of resources and budgets across the marketing department.
Working as a key support to the CMO this role will provide end-to-end oversight of departmental budgets, resource planning, risk and control frameworks and policies.
An expert facilitator, the role holder will be accountable for the marketing planning process, bringing together all elements of the marketing plan to create a cohesive and coordinated view of activities across the team.
Representing the business with external partners, the role holder will ensure the appropriate agency partners are in place to meet the needs of the marketing team and will manage external marketing suppliers against agreed performance criteria to ensure maximum return.
Manage the creation of the annual marketing planning process across marketing with input from the Marketing SLTProvide oversight of the marketing risk and control framework and governance processes, ensuring a strong risk culture and timely management of departmental risks.
Support the CMO on the delivery of the marketing strategy for SunLife, taking ownership for key marketing projects where required.
Creation of marketing reports for key internal Committees, focussing on appropriate messages for the audience.Ensure the appropriate supplier framework and relationships exist to best support the marketing team's objectives conducting regular supplier reviews to ensure best value for money.
Co-ordinate the resource plan for marketing, ensuring that appropriate resources are aligned across teams to deliver business objectives.An active member of the Marketing Leadership team you will provide support and guidance to the wider marketing team and use your role to highlight opportunities and challenge where necessary.
Day-to-day ownership of key marketing projects as required.Effective budget management across the department with full visibility provided on marketing spend and overall return on investment.
Resource planning, ensuring that the appropriate resources are aligned to achieve business goals.
Delivery of key projects on time and to budget.
Feedback from departmental audits and control testing reviews.
External agencies both creative and media.
