    Description


    As the overall leader of the digital products business incubator ("Element Digital") at Element, you will have full responsibility for product ideation, development, delivery and commercial success of all products within the Element digital portfolio.

    You will cultivate a diverse and inclusive atmosphere conducive to innovation, high productivity, and high-quality work. You will spearhead product development strategies and product/feature development prioritization, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. You will enable the engineering organization with the tools, processes, and structure needed to realize Element's growth ambitions.


    Responsibilities:


    Build and scale the Element's Digital product incubator organization that will build, deliver and support world-class customer facing digital products and service; build, develop and grow tech, product and go-to-market teamsContribute to the delivery of $10M+ of revenue from first digital product by end 2024 with a target to break even by end 2025 across full product portfolio.

    Proactively mitigate business, operational & governance risks through technical strategy and leadership.

    Manage competition and threats in the marketplace, with constant evaluation of product strategy, capital strategy & strategic prioritiesServe as the digital leader and voice on the DTG leadership team, and collaborate with executives across the organization to achieve company goalsWork collaboratively with technology, product, design, and business leaders to align product and technology roadmap with strengths and opportunities within the parent organization, providing input on feasibility and cost impactOversee design, delivery and management of products, plus feature rolloutsEnsure your team's success by removing roadblocks, addressing conflicts, and operating as its championUse strong organizational leadership skills and growth-oriented mindset to lead, motivate, and inspire multiple teams of technological, product and design talent to deliver high-quality software and be held accountable for their performanceBuild a performance driven team culture and inspire squad to collaborate as a cohesive and highly productive unitTrack, produce, analyze, and action upon key metrics & milestones to ensure quality products are delivered on timeQualifications:12+ years of experience in digital product leadership, building and leading high-performing multi-disciplinary technical squads; exceptional business and product acumenMust have experience being the leader in a digital start-up environmentStrong executive presence and experience working across organizational boundaries, forming alliances with other leaders, and building bridges that support functional as well as company goals.

    Experienced in balancing product priorities and technology/architecture/tech debt prioritiesExcited to work in a dynamic team environment, leading and developing people with compassion and authenticityDeep knowledge of Agile processes and workflowsElement is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
