    Description

    Job Title: Business Development Manager – South UK
    Location: London, South UK
    Type: Full-time
    Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 plus bonus and benefits

    CDM Life Sciences are pleased to partner with a leading provider of research models and services dedicated to advancing scientific discovery and innovation. We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join their team and drive revenue growth for their Research products and services across southern regions in the UK.

    Responsibilities:

    • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for Research Models and Services (RMS) products and services within the designated geographical region.
    • Collaborate with sales and management teams to increase market share and revenue spend at assigned accounts.
    • Develop account-specific sales strategies to promote all company products and services.
    • Prepare accurate account forecasts and track achievements versus goals.
    • Qualify account leads through customer contact and prospecting.
    • Build relationships with customers to influence the acceptance and use of company products and services.
    • Communicate product information and inform customers of new offerings.
    • Collaborate with specialist sales staff to ensure a cohesive and responsive sales process.
    • Implement a comprehensive territory management plan to identify target opportunities and potential new accounts.
    • Utilise CRM to capture customer information and complete sales documentation.
    • Participate in sales meetings and trade shows as required.
    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in life sciences, sales, or related discipline.
    • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the life science industry.
    • Direct working experience with Laboratory Rodent Animal Models is mandatory.
    • Valid driver's license required.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Proficient in standard office computer applications.
