About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Recruiter to join our People & Talent team and play a crucial role in attracting top talent to contribute to our company's success.

We are a tech startup in a critical growth phase and you will support us in hiring roles across all departments - from sales, customer success and marketing, to support, devrel and engineering. At it's core in each department we require employees with very solid technical background and deep understanding of the cloud development space. You will not only help us with sourcing and hiring a number of strong individual contributors, but also managers and executives.

Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their technical staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.

Source, identify, and engage top-tier technical talent through various channels such as job boards, social media, code repositories (e.g., Github), and industry partnerships.

Candidate Screening and Evaluation:

Conduct thorough technical screening interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.

Provide insightful feedback to hiring managers and assist in the decision-making process.

Employer Branding:

Develop and maintain a strong employer brand to attract and retain top talent.

Represent LocalStack at industry events, conferences, and meetups to promote our company and opportunities.

Collaboration with Hiring Managers:

Work closely with hiring managers to understand team dynamics, growth plans, and hiring priorities.

Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on recruitment goals.

Utilize data and analytics to track and report on recruitment metrics, providing insights to improve the overall recruitment process.

Continuously optimize strategies based on performance metrics.

Candidate Experience:

Ensure a positive and smooth candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Gather feedback from candidates to enhance our recruitment practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Technical Recruiter, preferably in the technology or cloud services industry.

In-depth understanding of technical roles and the ability to assess technical skills.

Strong sourcing skills and experience with various recruiting tools and platforms.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with cloud technologies and infrastructure is a plus.
