    Role - Facilities Manager

    Location - Birmingham office (1 day per week) Midlands travel + remote working

    Salary - Salaries vary based on seniority level - £38k-£44k base + £3,500 car allowance + bonus up to £4k-£6k (performance-dependent)

    Your role as a Facilities Manager:

    Are you seeking a Facilities Manager position and interested in working for a top commercial property managing agents in the UK?

    In this role, you will join the Facilities Management team and oversee a portfolio of up to 18 commercial properties across the Midlands, including multi-let offices, retail spaces, small shopping centres, and industrial properties.

    To thrive in this position, you need experience with invoice systems, H&S systems, and a track record of establishing and managing service charge budgets.

    Your duties and responsibilities as a Facilities Manager:

    • Manage a portfolio of 18 commercial properties in the Midlands
    • Create service charge budgets and relevant reports
    • Maintain tenant relationships, keeping them informed about ongoing work and addressing any issues promptly
    • Proficiently utilize invoice management systems (Experience with P2P software is advantageous)
    • Effectively utilize Health & Safety systems, oversee statutory compliance activities, and track contractor performance
    • Conduct site audits and inspections
    • Monitor SLA agreements and KPIs
    • Utilize CAFM system
    • Utilize RiskWise for H&S management

    To excel as a Facilities Manager, you should possess these skills and experiences:

    • Preferably worked for a property managing agent, handling a commercial property portfolio
    • Experience in setting and managing service charge budgets and reconciliations following RICS guidelines
    • Competence in tenant management and relationship building
    • Strong H&S knowledge and expertise
    • Ability to travel to Birmingham office at least once a week
