- Acquiring new opportunities through prospecting, networking and cold calling to ensure sales quotas are achieved
- Developing a sound sales pipeline of potential sales opportunities in assigned territory and accounts
- Developing and executing strategic sales plans for each opportunity
- Participating in sales calls and meetings to determine appropriate resources or representation by other FIS departments to win and close the deal
- Building and developing relationship to work with key client at all levels
- Reflecting input activity within and maintaining accurate and comprehensive sales database
- Maintaining awareness of market and industry trendsDeveloping the ability to cross-sell other FIS products
- Must be able to demonstrate a recent track record of sales CRM system engagement, demonstrating quarterly contact with assigned territory, commensurate with industry norms.
- Knowledge of the treasury and payments market
- Proven sales experience serving the corporate finance technology community
- Prior business to business sales or client relationship management experience
- Proven track record of closing business in strategic accounts and achieving assigned sales quota
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to persuade and influence
- Capacity to develop and deliver presentations, ability to create, compose and edit written proposals and sales materials
- Maintaining professionalism and projecting a positive image of the company
- Experience in interacting at senior level with various business partners across the organization
- Fluent English written and verbal language skills. Swedish or Danish speakers at an added advantage.
- This position will be UK based and will require business travel

About the team The FIS Corporate Treasury and Risk team is very successful in helping treasurers automate their treasury processing and reporting with FIS treasury technology. You will be joining a highly successful London based group, charged with account growth across Northern European Corporates. The team has a great track record to onboarding and nurturing new talent and looks forward to new talent bringing new ideas. For help on product knowledge use What you will be doing You will be assigned a set of current Treasury Enterprise and mid-market accounts, domiciled predominantly in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland but also the UK and Ireland. You will manage the account growth by positioning new products within the Treasury and Risk portfolio, including Core Treasury, Payment Hub, Receivables Management, SWIFT Service Bureau as well as applicable new modules, upgrades and cloud migrations. You will manage the sales activities in the assigned territory, create and execute on account plans, interact with the Go-to-market team on sales campaigns, attend large events and arrange smaller networking events in order to generate new business from a selected client portfolio as well as reflecting activity in FIS sales and prospecting tools. You will report to the Head of sales for the region. The Sales Executive role is a great opportunity to interact with a very active marketplace and learn more on the financial services as well as building strong business relationships with treasurers.
