    We are seeking an Chemical/Process Chemist to join our manufacturing centre of excellence based in Church Stretton, on the outskirts of Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

    The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our chemical process plant.

    The role will involve a wide range of activities including project management, design and oversite of equipment installations, identifying new technologies for processes improvements and general troubleshooting of plant operations and maintenance.

    Carry out project management and Project Design Engineering roles on large equipment and infrastructure projects.


    • Work with suppliers to ensure achievement of goals for cost, quality, and delivery.
    • Support training of production operatives in safe use of production processes and equipment.
    • Carry out Preventative Maintenance checks and servicing on large scale process equipment and document using our ISO 9001 Quality System
    • University Degree in Chemical / Process Engineering or equivalent
    • Significant experience in manufacturing / production , implementing complex chemistry project/process within hazardous area locations (ATEX, DSEAR, COMAH)
    • Any project management experience would be a strong plus
    • You are also capable of taking initiatives and leading a variety of projects . Finally, you possess a continuous improvement and digital mindset .
