    Description

    Fawkes & Reece are currently looking for a Site Agent to join one of the leading UK civil engineering contractors in Kent.

    My Client is a straight talking no nonsense civil engineering contractor.

    They operate across the UK and undertake civil engineering projects across a variety of different sectors including highways, bridges, infrastructure, flood defence, energy and rail.

    They are currently searching for a Site Agent to work some of their civil engineering projects in Kent.

    The candidate must be experienced in drainage, ducting, highways works, fencing, lighting, and foundations for new buildings connected with access and egress to the port areas.

    Management of site staff operatives and sub-contractors.
    Provide method statements, hazard risk assessments and Project Management plans.
    Understand the tender allowances and monitor contract costs against agreed budgets - company financial reporting.
    Preparing and monitoring programmes of work.
    Assessment and engagement of sub-contractors.
    Inform, consult and involve local groups as necessary.
    Promote and ensure all work complies with safety, quality and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures.
    Understand and administer contract change.
    SMSTS Qualifications
    CSCS Card
    Experience managing civil engineering project with a main contractor
    Highways, Earthworks, & Structures experience
    Life assurance cover (4x annual salary)
    Company car or car allowance
    Company pension scheme (we match up to 6%)
    25 days holiday plus bank holidays (with an option of buying more holiday)
