    General Role:

    As a Sales Executive / Key Account Manager, you will primarily be responsible for managing and developing Vanguard's key accounts.

    This role demands a robust combination of sales expertise, relationship-building skills, technical knowledge, and a deep understanding of the maritime landscape to address client needs and drive revenue growth effectively.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Sales and Business Development:

    Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the maritime industry, aiming to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.

    Leverage maritime landscape expertise to identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
    Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals, emphasizing maritime solutions and insurance benefits.


    Account Management:
    ~ Build and maintain strong relationships with existing maritime clients, serving as their primary point of contact.


    Client Assessment:
    Conduct detailed evaluations of client operations and goals, identifying unique challenges and opportunities
    Understand client maritime operations and insurance needs, providing tailored solutions and support.
    Proactively address client inquiries, concerns, and escalations, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
    Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling maritime-specific services and insurance solutions.


    Technical Expertise:
    Gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's maritime products, services, and technology solutions.
    Provide expert advice on maritime insurance, helping clients navigate their options effectively.


    Collaboration and Coordination:
    ~ Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to meet client needs and objectives in the maritime sector.
    ~ Ensure seamless delivery of maritime products and services through coordinated efforts with technical teams.


    Performance Tracking and Reporting:
    Monitor and report on sales performance metrics specific to the maritime industry.
    Provide insights to management on maritime market trends, client feedback, and competitive landscape.


    Qualifications:
    ~ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Shipping, Maritime, or related field.
    ~ Proven track record in account management, preferably within the maritime industry.
    ~ Strong understanding of the maritime sector products, services, and solutions.
    ~ Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    ~ Ability to build rapport and establish trust with maritime clients.
    ~ Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
    ~ Demonstrated ability in the marine insurance sector, with knowledge of its dynamics and outstanding strategic sales skills, including familiarity with commercial landscape, policies, claims handling, and risk assessment, will be considered a significant advantage.
