    Description

    Job Description A career-defining opportunity for an experienced and motivated Executive Producer/Agent to join our Production Team for months of maternity cover.

    Our production team produces films and photography from around the world using our in-house production arm and our global network of filmmakers and photographers.

    You will review and oversee the day-to-day production and output of the production team in our London office.


    The Role:
    This role is both a management position and hands-on role. The right candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and coordination of the production team. They may be asked to personally handle budgets and will oversee 5 staff members.


    The Agent / Executive Producer will require a process-driven mindset, comfortable with implementing systems, processes, and structure to support the delivery and scalability of the production desk.


    You will directly manage our production desk of Producers and Production Assistants, acting as a mentor and first point of contact for managing the team while developing and nurturing the talent in our production team.


    You will work closely with all heads of department, senior management, and with the senior creatives and Rankin to deliver on our various multi-media projects, across all areas including film, photo, events, publishing.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Reviewing the production team structure within the business and developing workflows that lead to cross-department synergy, particularly with the creative, operational, and finance teams.

    Foster a strong team environment, mentoring, and developing the production team to become the best in the industry.

    Reviewing the communication systems to ensure an efficient process is in place to track progress and status of all work within the team and operationally across the business, and at senior management level.

    To be first point of contact for all new business, solidifying budget scope, recommending schedule, writing up deal memos and making sure the appropriate stake holders are updated
    Manage weekly workflow to production team, weekly 1:1 meetings with Rankin and other members of the leadership team.
    To be briefed and engaged at senior management on the wider organizational ambition.
    Managing the production team delivery of multiple projects simultaneously from pitch support to delivery.
    Maintaining accurate and up-to-date knowledge of all jobs, associated timelines, and budgets.
    Overseeing bids on all productions, getting involved in bids where necessary.
    Ensuring smooth prep and delivery for all production work.
    Overseeing all production budgets, finalizing including overages and approving actualized wraps on delivery.
    Scaling and recruiting our in-house production team including managing freelancers where required.
    Principal link between the production desk and finance team.
    Negotiating fees and usage costs for the Founder of the company.
    Extensive experience in photography as well as film negotiations.
    Supporting the in-house creative agency when production support is necessary; agency production experience is a bonus.

    Strong financial skills and deep understanding of production budgeting.
    Demonstrate a combination of excellent attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture.
    Ability to operate in a fast-paced, highly competitive business landscape.
    Passionate about creating exciting, inspiring films and stills campaigns.


    Skills and Experience:


    Experience with commercials, music video, stills, and branded content production including remote production, and working for artist (photographers and directors) directly.

    Experience in client facing work as well as managing a team
    Network experience of a great black book of production contacts both in London and overseas.
    Demonstrate the ability to build strong ties with existing and new production partners.
    An excellent understanding of the whole production process through delivery.
    An innovative thinker, prepared to think outside the box and challenge industry norms.
    Comfortable working with both technology and manpower drivers of success.
