    We are seeking two Senior Employee Relations Administrators to join our growing People Management team. The successful candidates will work in partnership with staff, management and union representatives, providing support and guidance on all employee relations matters, both formal and informal.

    You will embody the College's values of respect, ownership and integrity and you will demonstrate these in your everyday work.

    This is an opportunity to have a real impact on our growing number of staff, and to work with staff and managers to give a better overall learner experience.



    Requirements

    • Coping:.This will be a challenging role so you will need to remain focussed and composed at all times.
    • Encouraging: You will build rapport with both staff and managers to ensure that everyone is treated fairly. You will ensure that interactions are constructive and co-operative, even in challenging situations.
    • Influencing: You will need to be confident in managing alternative viewpoints, and be assertive in handling objections and challenges.
    • Organising: You will need to manage conflicting demands on your time, whilst being mindful of adherence to timescales and policies. You will be dealing with multiple issues at once and you will be responsible for documenting, recording and maintaining information for each case.

Coping: You will be working in a fast paced environment where legal compliance must work alongside the need for swift action. You must be resilient to demands from colleagues and managers. Delivering: Whilst you will have the support of the team, you will need to be confident in taking ownership of certain tasks and issues. You may be required to take independent action to resolve some queries. Interacting: You will be liaising with staff and managers across the College, so you need to be someone who enjoys social interaction with others.
