An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our clients for a Sales Manager - Stainless Steel Products; Metric Stainless-Steel Tubes, Fittings and Value-Added Services selling across the UK.
The business is a forward-thinking organisation that is a market leader in their niche field, are technically strong and have a strong and well-respected brand.
The company have a fantastic stock profile, are very proactive as a business and are part of a multi-million-pound group who set the standards within the market with their exceptional and wide-ranging product range and on-time delivery service.
The ideal candidate will have strong Sales, Business Development or ideally Sales Management experience in Stainless Steel Tubes and Fittings, failing that they will consider applicants with experience of selling Stainless Steel or Stainless-Steel products, they may also consider candidates with experience in Other Types of Steel or simply applicants with experience in Multi Metals Distribution.
As a Sales Manager you will have full responsibilities for an internal Sales Team consisting of 3 people and you will also be responsible for the entire sales budget.
You will be measured on your ability to manage the team, the overall team performance and ultimately, profit made by the team.
They will also look at new accounts developed, dormant accounts reopened and the overall development of the team along with how you integrate yourself into the wider business and group.
You will collaborate with a customer base of clients in the utilities sector, the paper and pulp industry, the water treatment market, aerospace and defence, the architectural industry, infrastructure and numerous others so specific experience in these specialist areas would be very advantageous.
The client is looking to recruit someone who can help grow and develop what is an already very profitable and successful business and this role offers excellent and varied opportunities for career progression into more senior positions throughout the company and wider group.
The ideal candidate must have strong Sales, Business Development or ideally Sales Management experience in Stainless Steel Tubes and Fittings, Stainless Steel or Stainless-Steel products, Other Types of Steel or in Multi Metals Distribution.
The company require applicants who have Sales or Sales Management expertise who can communicate at all levels.In summary, they require someone who can lead from the front and is hands on, and can bring a fresh approach and fresh ideas, who engages with the team, can hold the team to account when needed but also has a collaborative approach.
