Job Description:
My client are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Air Export Agent to join their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the export of goods via air transportation, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee the export process for air freight shipments, from booking to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate execution of all activities.
Communicate with clients, airlines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to arrange transportation, obtain necessary documentation, and address any inquiries or issues that may arise.
Prepare and process export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and export licenses, in compliance with international trade regulations and customer requirements.
Coordinate cargo pickup and delivery, liaising with warehouse personnel, trucking companies, and other service providers to ensure smooth operations.Arrange for cargo consolidation, packaging, labeling, and other necessary services to prepare shipments for air transport.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking information, documentation, and billing details, using electronic systems and databases.
Monitor shipment status and proactively address any delays, disruptions, or discrepancies to minimize impact on delivery schedules.
Provide support and assistance to clients throughout the export process, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Stay updated on industry regulations, customs requirements, and best practices related to air export operations.
