First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic International Defence business who are looking to recruit an Aviation Ground Support Technician on a permanent basis due to growth based at their Ruislip depot.
As a Mechanical and Electrical Technician, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.The timely servicing and rectification of any occurring faults are an important part of the role, working in a team whose job it is to keep both military and civilian assets supplied with the right ground support equipment at the right time.
The right candidate for this position will enable the smooth functioning of the Ground Support vehicles, in accordance with safety standards, practices and procedures.
Carrying out general tasks in support of the aircraft.Refuelling and maintenance activities in support of the aircraft.
Skilled in the use of all tools associated with mechanical maintenance.
Performance driven individual who demonstrates initiative and adaptability.
Trained Electro / Mechanical Technician to at least City and Guild 381/382/383 qualifications in Heavy Vehicle / Plant Equipment or equivalent, or timed served
Normal colour perception graded as CP2 (needed to work on an airfield) - can be obtained at an opticians
Full Manual UK driving licence
