    Description
    Crypto/Digital Assets Lawyer – Cayman Islands

    It offers an opportunity to specialise in offshore transactional work for the rapidly developing cryptocurrency/digital assets sector, gaining experience that will place you right at the cutting edge of the market.

    Some prior experience in crypto/digital assets is preferred but we are also interested in hearing from corporate/financial services/funds lawyers who have a genuine interest in the sector.

    It will suit someone who enjoys a diverse range of work since you could be advising on everything from corporate and finance-related matters to the ever-changing regulatory and compliance landscape that clients in this sector must navigate.

    Highly attractive tax-free salary (expected to be in the range of USD170k-220k depending on experience). Comprehensive benefits, bonus, and relocation package (flights + temporary accommodation on arrival + expenses allowance)

    To secure a work permit for the Cayman Islands you will need to be admitted in the UK or an equivalent Commonwealth jurisdiction (such as Australia, New Zealand or Canada) and have at least three years' post-qualification experience (by the time you relocate).

    You will have worked on matters in the fintech/crypto sector (with in a good commercial law firm or in-house legal team), or you will be a transactional/FS lawyer with a demonstrable interest in moving into this field.
