Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Management Accountant with strong analytical skills and impeccable attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and organising financial data to support decision-making processes. This position is term-time only + 2 weeks.
Client DetailsOur client is a well-established educational entity in the not-for-profit sector, managing a network of schools in Solihull.

They are committed to providing high-quality education for their students, employing over 500 dedicated staff members across their multiple locations.

DescriptionPreparing monthly management accounts and year-end financial statementsAssisting in the annual budget process and conducting regular budget reviewsProviding financial advice to non-finance staff across the organisationEnsuring financial compliance with statutory and regulatory requirementsAnalysing financial performance and making longer-term forecastsParticipating in internal and external auditsImplementing and maintaining internal financial controls and proceduresProfileA successful Management Accountant should have:Actively studying towards qualification (ACCA, CIMA or similar) or QBEPrevious experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit sector is essential Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelExcellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-finance colleaguesJob OfferA competitive salary in the range of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (FTE)Term-time only + 2 weeks4 days in the office per weekA supportive and inclusive work environmentOpportunities for professional developmentA generous holiday allowanceThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable educational entity in Solihull and make a significant contribution to their ongoing success.
