    BioTalent are working with a pioneering biotech startup in London The organisation is working on cutting-edge precision medicine and personalised therapeutics, currently operating in stealth mode status but poised to make ground-breaking changes in the healthcare arena.

    We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a VP of Data & Informatics who will be leading the company's informatics and data strategy, driving insights from complex datasets and coordinating a small team of Informaticians, Data Scientists and Computational Biologists.


    You will be responsible for:
    Developing and executing informatics and data strategy.
    Leading and mentoring the computational science unit.
    Establishing robust data infrastructure.
    Overseeing the design of bioinformatics pipelines.
    Driving development of machine learning models.
    Championing cross-functional collaborations.


    You will bring the following:
    Advanced degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, or related field.
    Minimum 8 years of relevant leadership experience in biotech/pharma.
    Expertise in bioinformatics and genomics.
    Proficiency in Python, R, or Java.
    Strong communication and collaboration skills.
