    A new opportunity has emerged for an IT Applications Specialist to join our IT Department. In this role, you will be responsible for effectively managing the IT Application estate across the entire business.

    This will consist of ensuring it is operating effectively for end users, implemented securely and in line with vendor support requirements.

    There will be a specific focus on managing, administering, and developing our Microsoft 365 technology, by implementing new Microsoft solutions and enhancing the utilisation of existing Microsoft technologies.

    Manage, administer and maintain the firms Microsoft 365 environment.
    Install new and upgrade existing applications as defined by the IT Strategy and Investment plans
    Work closely with the IT Trainers to assist in producing software related training materials
    Provide hands-on assistance with projects outside the main scope of the role (e.g. office moves)
    A minimum 2 years experience with many of the following Microsoft technologies:
    • End User Computing – M365, Teams, O365, Sharepoint, Power Automate & BI etc
    Active Directory, SQL etc.
    ~ Microsoft Certifications in any of these relevant technologies would be advantageous.

    Experience in laptop configuration, management and performance tuning expertise.
    Experience in packaging, repackaging and automating software installations for Windows environments.
    Knowledge and experience of Active Directory Group Policy.
    Experience in system development / coding / integration.
    Legal Application Knowledge e.g. Awareness of Web and Email Security.
    Proven SQL knowledge and experience.
    Understanding of ITIL Framework
    The post-holder will report to the IT Technical Services Manager.
