    Pure is seeking a vibrant and results-oriented Sales Director to join a prominent manufacturing company based in Suffolk.

    About You:

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Contribution:
    Understand and contribute to the business goals and strategic vision of the company.

    Business Development:
    Manage and support Business Development Managers (BDMs) to achieve business goals, including mentoring, development, and customer visits.

    Market Awareness:
    Stay abreast of market trends, evolving customer needs, and competitor activity to inform business strategies.

    Collaboration:
    Work closely with the Research and Development (R&D) and Technical Departments to identify and develop new and emerging markets

    Leadership:
    Demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire the team towards achieving objectives.

    Marketing Strategy:
    Define marketing strategy in collaboration with the board, and work with the Marketing Manager to execute plans effectively. Review and manage marketing messages to target markets.

    Team Management:

    Oversee administrative staff and their functions, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), day-to-day queries, requests for information, job quoting, and samples.


    Pricing Strategy:
    Take responsibility for setting pricing to achieve desired margins.

    Performance Reporting:
    Report to the Board on the performance of the Sales Department against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

    Qualification and Skills:

    Proven experience in sales and marketing management, within a manufacturing environment.
    Excellent understanding of business goals and the ability to align strategies accordingly.
    Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
    Ability to analyse market trends and competitor activity.
    Effective communication and negotiation skills.
    Proficiency in setting pricing strategies and achieving desired margins.
    Experience in reporting performance against KPIs.
