    Summary:

    Billups is searching for a knowledgeable Contract Specialist who is responsible for every phase of contract development from researching the legal regulations to negotiating the terms and preparing the document.

    The ideal candidate will provide legal and contractual support for our company. They should be familiar with legal terminology, contractual agreements, and have a background in contract administration.

    The Contract Specialist will work closely with Legal Ops, Finance, and Media leadership to ensure contracts comply with legal requirements and operational goals.

    This is a fully-remote, work from home opportunity. Candidates will ideally reside in London, England. Professional French fluency is highly preferred.


    Salary Range:
    £34-47 GBP.


    Job Description:

    Reviewing circumstances of work with business/media teams, identifying legal issues, ascertaining business objectives, considering options and advising business on appropriate courses of action.

    Taking appropriate action to develop the business objective through application of legal skills, including research, analysis, and drafting.

    Drafting, review and negotiation of terms and conditions of contracts with clients and vendors in the Out of Home Advertising industry.

    Supporting Legal Ops Manager with functional reporting and initiatives.
    Negotiating and drafting client contracts and MSAs, DPAs, SLAs, under the supervision of the Legal Ops Manager.
    Negotiating, confidentiality agreements and low risk/low value contracts, standard form contracts such as Media Authorization, and Insertion Orders.
    Drafting and editing documents for compliance with internal contracting policies and processes and general corporate policies.
    Acting as interface with the Media, IT, HR, and Finance Departments and any other functions as appropriate.
    Owning, maintaining, and enhancing an end-to-end contract management process, including:
    Reviewing and enhancing organizational contract management processes.
    Partnering with stakeholders to successfully implement change management programs.
    Draft, analyze, negotiate, revise and execute an array of contracts with customers and vendors and other appropriate parties.
    Own, maintain and enhance a centralized file, storage and documentation system for all contract-related material.
    Build out language libraries and special contract terms.
    Identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes.

    Partner with media, finance, product, and other internal stakeholders to negotiate and close commercial contracts while ensuring the terms comply with corporate policies and procedures.

    Build and maintain relationships with vendors, clients, and other business connections


    Requirements:
    ~5+ years of experience as a Contract Specialist/Analyst in an enterprise environment.
    ~ Must have full professional proficiency in French (C1 or higher) and English – Communicates verbally and written in French and English regarding business subjects, including technical discussions of corporate finance, legal and contract management.
    ~ Ideal and highly preferred qualification also includes professional working proficiency in German (verbal, written, spoken).
    ~ Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Paralegal certificate or equivalent a plus.
    ~ Experience owning and managing contract management systems.
    ~ Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
    ~ Strong attention to detail.
    ~ Creative problem-solving abilities.
    ~ Excellent stakeholder management skills.
    ~ This role will interface with our internal teams and our partners globally, so proactive communication, and the flexibility to respond to stakeholders working in multiple time zones is essential.
    ~ Working knowledge of key global privacy legislation, including but not limited to CCPA and GDPR.
