- Monitor patientsprogress and adjust treatment plans asneeded.
- Provide psychoeducation to patients andtheir families on addiction recovery and relapseprevention.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinaryteams to ensure holistic care.
- Maintainaccurate and uptodate medicalrecords.
- Participate in clinical audits andquality improvement initiatives.
- Stay abreastof developments in the field of addiction medicine and participatein continuous professional developmentactivities.
- Requirements :
- Medical degree from a recognizedinstitution.
- Full registration with the GeneralMedical Council (GMC) in the UK.
- Specialisttraining in addiction medicine or relevant experience in drugrehabilitation.
- Membership of relevantprofessional bodies such as the Federation of Drug and AlcoholPractitioners (FDAP) or the Royal College of Psychiatrists(MRCPsych) or equivalent.
- Demonstratedexperience in the assessment and treatment of patients withsubstance abuse disorders.
- Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.
- Abilityto work effectively as part of a multidisciplinaryteam.
- Commitment to providing compassionatepatientcenteredcare.
