    Job Title:
    Mechanical Project Manager


    Location:
    Central London


    The Role:

    • Responsible for all Mechanical aspects of projects.
    • Overseeing projects from £200k to £2.5 million. Can be running multiple smaller projects at once which generally consists of a Site Supervisor/Manager and subcontract labour.
    • The projects are all office and healthcare fit outs in London
    • Responsible for effective relationship management with clients & working partners to achieve smooth operational and commercial progression of projects.
    • Making sure health, safety & welfare is maintained and adhered to at project/site level.
    • Managing projects from tender to completion
    • Ensuring that all related design information is correctly and fully audited to secure overall compliance.
    • Overseeing all elements of the overall commissioning process to ensure that the installations are correctly commissioned.
    • Ensuring that complete and comprehensive records are collated and maintained covering all aspects of quality control, system/equipment testing, water treatment, commissioning, and equipment maintenance.
    • Attend on site meetings, as and when required.
    • Overseeing the preparation of operation & maintenance manuals.
    • Providing technical support and expertise to the internal project team.
    • Responsible for handover to clients and after care.
    • Role based between projects and the London office.
    • Working hours: 8-5, Mon-Fri.

    The Company:
    * 16+ years' experience delivering MEP projects in London and surrounding areas.

    • Offices based in North London
    • This company is currently at around £12m turnover per annum with an aim to get to £16 million this year.
    • This hire is due to the company growth. Turnover is 40% up in the last year
    • Take on full MEP packages

    The Ideal Candidate:

    • Will have 5+ years' experience working as a Mechanical Project Manager within the fit-out sector.
    • Will have previous experience working with commercial projects up to the value of £2m (Mechanical).
    • Will hold a Black CSCS Managers Card. SSSTS/SMSTS and HND/HNC advantageous.
    • Will work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
    • Will have excellent communication skills.
    • Will be willing to work in London every day.
