    Secondment - 9 months - Executive Assistant - Birmingham, United Kingdom - HSBC

    Description

    Digital Business Services (DBS) provides essential support for the bank through operations, technology, key central business services such as procurement and real estate management, and a worldwide network of Chief Operating Officers.

    The role involves organising complex schedules, maintaining diaries and arranging meetings as appropriate involving multiple senior stakeholders. Responsible for planning both internal and external meetings on behalf of the Regulatory Standards Team. Arranging international/national travel and itinerary management. Managing confidential and sensitive material/information and build a network and develops key relationships with other EA//PAs within the Business Area. It also involves receiving, assessing and monitoring e-mails on behalf of MD, Regulatory Standards.Expense processing and management is also a part of the role.

    In this role you will:

    • administer ad hoc projects and tasks as required and preparing documents.
    • co-ordinate activities, events, resources, and off-site meetings as and when required.
    • collate papers and agenda items, monitor and progress action items as appropriate.
    • establish a strong relationship with key internal and external stakeholders as appropriate
    • demonstrate HSBC UK Principles of treating customers fairly
    Requirements

    To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

    • Self-starter with excellent ability to work on own initiative is highly essential.

    • Outstanding planning and organisation skills – dealing with multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure is mandatory.
    • Extensive diary management experience is desirable
    • Proficient in IT i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, HR Direct and in-house systems. Persistent, resilient, system literate - essential.
    • Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience is essential.
    • Ability to multi-task and manage completing priorities and agenda
    • Experienced PA/EA experience is desirable
