    The Compliance Team

    Our Compliance team focuses on refining other teams' concepts, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards while safeguarding and respecting customers. We aim to instill a collaborative compliance culture, partnering with all departments to deliver compliant products, valuable counsel, and robust oversight. We seek a seasoned Compliance Manager with insurance industry experience to join our team. As the Compliance Manager, you will work under the Head of Compliance, executing the Compliance Monitoring Plan and offering compliance guidance.

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Execute the Compliance Monitoring Plan, producing regular and ad-hoc monitoring reports on essential compliance risks and the efficiency of the business' control framework
    • Manage the incident reporting process to ensure regulatory breaches are acknowledged by the Head of Compliance and the business, assisting in incident resolution
    • Develop and implement compliance training programs to educate employees on their compliance obligations, including relevant FCA rules and regulations
    • Aid the business in fulfilling regulatory Consumer Duty requirements and upholding adherence to senior managers and certification regime policies
    • Collaborate with the broader Compliance function to implement and monitor the risk management framework and Compliance Plan
    • Establish, execute, and uphold compliance policies and procedures to mitigate regulatory risks and cultivate a compliance-oriented culture across the organization
    • Assist the Head of Compliance in collaborating with key business stakeholders to ensure overall compliance and adherence to essential policies and procedures
    • Develop and oversee data analytics to offer insights into critical risk and performance indicators

    In addition to 33 days of holiday, a pension plan, a cycle to work scheme, monthly team gatherings, and company-wide social events, we offer Our Process broken down into three phases: Initial call with Sophie Tucker (TA Specialist, 30 mins), a take-home task presentation, a skill-based interview with our Head of MFSL Compliance (1 hour), and a culture interview to assess alignment with our processes and values (1 hour). While we won't provide individual feedback due to the volume of applications received, we'll notify you if you progress to an interview. Background checks are mandatory to fulfill our FCA obligations; these include DBS checks and confirming the absence of ongoing legal proceedings.
