    Job Description

    Shore Executive has been assigned on behalf of a Tier 1 Main Contractor to appoint a Project Director to oversee multiple commercial projects within the London and surrounding area.

    You will be responsible for a project portfolio of up to £70 Million which will comprise predominantly of high-end Office Fit Outs and Refurbishments both CAT A & B.

    This is a senior appointment within the business which will entail overseeing a large delivery team, the tender process, pre-construction and project completion.

    Due to the nature of the position, our client has requested individuals have experience of the following:

    • working for a Main Contractor with a turnover of £200 Million + and experience of leading traditionally procured projects
    • multiple commercial projects both CAT A and CAT B
    • of managing a project portfolio of £20 Million +
    • in both the tender and pre-construction process

    Key responsibilities will include:

    • for assigned projects including sit mobilisation, construction and delivery
    • compliant planning and delivery of project handover
    • both current and potential client relationships
    • in partnership with external professional team
    • the tendering process which will include allocating resource.
    • regular contact with clients, instructed Professionals and key stakeholders
    • for overseeing and driving the design delivery strategy with the team
    • the design process and monitor risks
    • and develop procurement strategies
    • with the selection of sub-contractors
    • delivery programme
    • the commercial tender strategy and value engineering negotiations
    • the pre-construction including contractual review
