    Job Title: User Researcher at Hitachi Solutions Europe


    Job Description


    We are expanding our User-Centred Design consulting team and seeking a User Researcher to join the exciting journey at Hitachi Solutions. As part of the Hitachi Solutions family, you will play a key role in shaping Hitachi's user research community, contributing to the creation of digital products and services for clients in public and private sectors.


    What does this role involve?

    • Developing and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders within Central Government organizations
    • Supporting organizations in digital transformation, including cloud migration, target operating models, and innovation initiatives
    • Guiding customers through technology decision-making processes and assisting them in realizing the benefits of service transformation
    • Seeking out new business leads and opportunities
    • Delivering end-to-end customer support, from understanding issues to implementing change programs
    • Leading engagements with customers and stakeholders, representing Hitachi Solutions in public forums
    • Staying updated on digital and technology advancements to enhance public service delivery in the UK
    • Desiring to collaborate, learn, and excel
    • Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders effectively through various channels

    Qualifications


    As a User Researcher, you should have skills in:

    • Utilizing appropriate research methods throughout the product lifecycle
    • Applying design thinking frameworks like the Double Diamond method or government agile delivery phases
    • Conducting research with diverse user groups for inclusive product and service delivery
    • Ethical research practices to ensure the safety of all involved parties
    • Communicating research insights to drive service and product design enhancements
    • Collaborating with teams and stakeholders effectively
    • Promoting a user-centered design culture within a team or organization
    • Advocating for the value of user-centered design to stakeholders and endorsing a user-centric approach
    • Working in agile teams and upholding best practices in fast-paced environments
    • Conducting research across various products and services
