    Description

    This is a fabulous and exiting opportunity to be part of the leadership of the Barnet General Hospital Psychiatric Liaison Team Manager.


    So, if you're a skilled mental health nurse or practitioner who has effective and compassionate communication skills and are committed to delivering high quality healthcare advice, then we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our Team.


    The roles will be supported by a robust leadership structure which will encourage professional development for those seeking to expand their clinical experience.

    The post holder will provide strong professional, clinical, operational leadership and management to support the further development of integrated care within the Barnet Liaison Team.

    They will lead by example and be expected to spend a proportion of their time supporting high quality clinical care within the Liaison Team.

    The post holder will also offer support to the North Middlesex University Hospital Psychiatric Liaison Team when required.
    Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust provides local, regional and national award-winning healthcare services. We provide community health services and mental health services for young people, adults and older people.

    Our North London Forensic Service treats and cares for people in the criminal justice system who have mental health conditions.

    We also provide one of the largest eating disorders services in England, as well as drug and alcohol services.

    RMN with significant experience at Band 6 level or equivalent.
    Evidence of management training and development

    Management and supervision of staff

    Delivered training to groups of staff.
    Active participation in service planning and development.
    Experience of working with service users with substance misuse problems
