    Job Title: Supported Housing Officer

    Location: Bristol

    Salary: £25,000 per year (Pro rata for part-time)

    Job Type: Full-time or part-time, Permanent

    Reporting to: Team Leader - part of the Support Services Department

    Elim Housing Association provides housing and support services in the West of England and Gloucestershire. We are at an exciting stage of transformation and seek supported housing officers to join our teams in Bristol.

    Responsibilities:

    • Build and maintain trusting relationships with residents, including parents, providing ongoing support and coordination of planned programs
    • Assess residents' needs, strengths, and risks in alignment with organizational procedures
    • Help residents find suitable accommodation for transitioning
    • Support residents in pursuing education, training, and employment goals
    • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure effective support delivery and enhance outcomes for recipients

    Requirements for Success:

    • Strong communication skills to interact effectively at all levels, adjusting communication to individual needs
    • Ability to partner with various agencies, including statutory bodies, to enhance service outcomes
    • Empathy towards homeless individuals and the challenges they face
    • Capability to raise the aspirations of service recipients, promoting education, training, and employment
    • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records using Microsoft Office tools and other software
