    Bumble is looking for a flexible, culture-centric, curious, and proactive People & Culture Business Partner (HRBP) to join our growing team, with a focus on partnering with our Engineering teams.

    Based in the UK, you will work closely with a team of People & Culture Business Partners, and cross-functional People & Culture specialists, and will have a high level of autonomy for solving day-to-day people and organisational challenges with people-related solutions.

    You will work closely with employees and managers to advise, challenge and support them as our business continues to evolve.

    Bumble is growing fast, so the ideal candidate will be flexible and open to an evolving scope of work, with experience in handling international employment across multiple territories.

    This role will report to the Senior People & Culture Business Partner based in London.
    Provide day-to day support to Engineering leaders that will include anything from answering questions around policy application on specific employee cases, compensation discussions, driving talent and people development plans, to ensuring that day-to-day performance management guidance is provided to leaders
    Work on a wide range of strategic people-related matters and projects including team structure and optimisation, employee engagement and retention, organisational culture and change management
    Collaborate with the Compensation & Benefits team to develop our compensation philosophy and other reward mechanisms, as well as advising leaders on the best compensation decisions
    Oversee performance management processes and initiatives; collaborating with the wider People & Culture team to design and implement new performance management workflows as part of our Workday rollout
    Partner with the broader People & Culture team on the design, implementation, administration, and management of people processes and systems throughout the organisation to build and maintain culture across our global team
    Advise and consulting on the staffing strategy and hiring decisions of leaders and other key strategic positions in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team; You will have experience working closely with an Engineering or Product Development function in startup or scale-up environments (additional experience in a larger organisation would be a bonus)
    You're accustomed to working closely with business leaders as a strategic thought partner, with the ability to influence and challenge when needed
    You are adept at working with data and spreadsheets including pivot tables, lookups, etc
    Experience with Workday is a bonus

    You have personal gravitas:
    you articulate your thought processes with conviction, back up your ideas with data & evidence, and don't shy away from debating the best course of action for the business
    You have strong written and verbal English communication skills
