    Description

    Love live events? Made for teamwork? Join our catering team at Birmingham's epicentre of events, working for the NEC Group.

    We have a host of exciting opportunities available across the group You can join our hospitality team at The ICC and Vox, serve up smiles and chat on the tills at NEC's world famous shows or serve up pints to thousands of music fans in our bars at Resorts World Arena.

    We have an opportunity at The ICC for a Conference and Banqueting Manager.

    What you will be doing:

  • To use your innovative and customer service skills to work with our award winning team creating memorable food moments and dining experiences
  • Health and wellbeing are at our core and you will be required to ensure that the highest standard of food safety is adhered to
  • Contribute to the financial success of The NEC Group, which is a high performing business where driving revenue and cost control is one of our building blocks
  • Work alongside likeminded individuals who have food and customer service at their heart
  • Working together as a team is paramount, where we have fun in an exciting fast paced environment

    • What you will need:

  • A passion for success
  • Creative flair
  • Adaptability working across multi venue from retail to hospitality
  • Good overall knowledge of operating Conference & Banqueting in a large capacity
  • Strong leadership and people manager qualities who can lead and motivate a team to excel
  • Proven ability to work under pressure with excellent customer service skills and an eye for "attention to detail".
  • Ability to prioritise and delivery to deadlines are crucial and be able to work across several events and manage time effectively
  • Passion, energy, drive and commitment
