    Policy Lead
    Permanent

    BOSS Energy has been retained by a leading Carbon Capture project developer seeking someone to join their team as Policy Lead.

    Reporting to the Head of External Relations, you will play a key role in the development of new policy and regulation relating to the safe mineralisation of CO2 internationally.

    They will also help influence the development of emerging international carbon markets.
    Help develop and execute international policy strategy.
    Draft and refine policy and regulations related to safe carbon mineralisation and the carbon market.
    Represent the business in international policy forums, including regular calls with industry associations.
    Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the legislative and policy landscape.
    Monitor and analyse the evolving legislative and policy landscape around carbon dioxide removal / carbon capture and sequestration.
    Travel internationally, including regular visits to the Middle East.
    Understanding of the policy and legislative environment related to climate in the EU and USA (and elsewhere).
    Knowledge of current carbon dioxide removal (CDR), carbon capture and storage (CCS) and carbon market legislation and policy.
    Ability to produce excellent English written communications for internal and external audiences.
