    Partnerships Manager - EFL - 4 Month Contract

    About the Company:

    Founded in 1888, The English Football League (EFL) is the world's original league football competition. With a rich history and 72 member clubs, it stands as the largest body of professional clubs in European football. The EFL not only administers and regulates prestigious competitions like the SkyBet EFL, Carabao Cup, Bristol Street Motors Trophy, and youth football, but also through its charitable arm, the EFL Trust, oversees the inspirational work across its 72 clubs impacting over 1.5 million individuals each year.

    Position Overview:

    This is a four-month contract and we are looking for candidates who are available to start immediately.

    To lead and develop existing partner relationships for the EFL, including proactively driving partnership agreements through a strong understanding of individual partner markets and business objectives, maximising the value of association with the EFL and its member clubs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Effectively manage, organise and administer the delivery of some of the EFL's highest profile partner contracts and other official partners, licensees, and suppliers.
    • Support the digital, marketing, communications, and club relationship departments in fully integrating the partners as required.
    • All contractual rights and work with the partners to deliver the activation goals.
    • The main point of contact for the partners and leading on delivering all commercial rights in relation to their contract.
    • Key relationships across the partners business.

    Key Requirements:

    • Experience in account managing and activating sponsorships in sports.
    • Understanding and experience of managing sponsorship contracts.
    • Interpersonal skills including the ability to influence decision makers.
    • Knowledge of brand dynamics and consumer trends.
    • Commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically.
    • Reporting and presentation skills.
