- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the assigned territory.
- Identify and engage prospective customers through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of our materials handling equipment.
- Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the customer and the company.
- Provide excellent post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that drive sales growth.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to track performance and provide insights to management.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the materials handling equipment or related industry.
- Strong understanding of materials handling equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, pallet jacks, and automated systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
