    Business Development Manager

    £35K + £25K OTE, £4K car allowance + benefits

    South East England, London and Home Counties

    One of the leading Fire & Security specialists in London and the South East with over 75,000 customers and growing rapidly. Products include the latest burglar alarms, CCTV, fire protection and access control systems, always designed to provide the best possible protection for each customer.

    The role:

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and driven salesperson who is keen to work with a friendly and rewarding company that can offer clear career progression and excellent benefits along with a competitive salary. As a Security and Fire Business Development Manager/Surveyor, you will be a key player in growing the business. All sales are incoming leads (no cold calling). You will have the freedom to sell into a range of sectors in both domestic and commercial sites.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Carrying out site surveys/estimations to understand customer's specifications and requirements.
    • Liaising with Customers, Sales teams and Engineers to create designs, proposals and quotations for, and not limited to; CCTV, Intruder Alarm, Door Entry, Access Control & Fire Alarm Systems.
    • Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control and Intruder systems + Fire / BAFE 203
    • Build and maintain business relations with existing key clients.
    • Proactively research, identify and convert new business opportunities in line with the company's top customer profiles to build sales pipelines achieving targets set.
    • Ensure quotations are delivered within the deadlines provided and updated on to internal CRM system and ensure follow-up on quotations, negotiate and close outstanding opportunities with the customer.
    • Application of health and safety standards.
    • Good overall knowledge of industry products.

    You:

    • Ideal candidates will have a proven track record within the Fire & Security Surveying world however we will consider someone who has transferable skills from other sectors such as telecommunications or IT.
    • Experienced producer of detailed design estimates with meticulous attention to detail.
    • You should be confident in identifying new business leads.
    • You should be self-motivated and dedicated.
