- Coordinating the onboarding of new fund/client mandates, share class launches, and portfolio modifications in collaboration with relevant stakeholder teams to ensure seamless completion of all legal, operational, compliance, and transitional tasks. The Onboarding Executive plays a crucial role in navigating progress and overcoming obstacles.
- Effectively communicating progress internally and externally on onboarding activities, conducting regular working group meetings with key stakeholders for monitoring and managing advancement.
- Completing necessary onboarding documentation for new funds in alignment with internal and external stakeholders, emphasizing creative thinking and acting as a business advocate to uphold LGIM's service and operational standards.
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of all business functions within LGIM, establishing and nurturing strong relationships across these areas.
- Serving as an 'onboarding consultant' both internally and externally, showcasing technical expertise and insight into client decision-making processes. Effectively mapping key onboarding milestones to manage expectations.
- Implementing and enhancing business processes and procedures to promote a risk-controlled, compliant environment within a robust governance framework.
- Providing daily and strategic support to Onboarding Managers in the team.
- Offering strategic support by participating in projects that assist onboarding specialists in conducting testing and updates across various forums and workstreams, actively contributing to IT platform Pega modeling and design.
- Essential:
- Foundational knowledge of investments
- Solid academic background (Degree qualified)
- IMC qualification (or willingness to pursue)
- Understanding of current investment, market, regulatory, and economic landscapes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage at a senior management level
