    Description

    Marketplace is a new online initiative by Tesco, allowing customers to shop for a variety of third-party products in addition to groceries. The primary focus areas include pet food, health, beauty, and alcohol. Join our team to be part of this exciting journey working towards serving our customers and communities better each day.

    As a Marketplace Onboarding Executive, you play a vital role in onboarding & supporting third-party sellers on the Tesco Marketplace platform, driving growth by enhancing our product assortment.

    Marketplace is crucial to our strategy of being the most convenient grocer, offering customers a wide range of products. To support Marketplace's development, we need Online Executives to bring our strategy to fruition.

    Does this role excite you? If so, we want to hear from you, especially if you have experience in Online and/or Multichannel/Omnichannel Environment, particularly in Retail.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and demonstrate a strong grasp of the new platform and customer experience requirements
    • Educate and assist sellers in launching and managing their businesses on the platform effectively
    • Monitor Marketplace quality and identify areas for enhancement
    • Establish audit processes for marketplace listings to ensure compliance
    • Define quality metrics and implement reporting processes
    • Identify growth opportunities and enhance the Marketplace proposition
    • Serve as the expert on seller onboarding and Marketplace catalog
    • Collaborate with partner teams to address issues and find solutions

    Requirements

    • Data Manipulation (Microsoft Excel/Reporting)
    • Quick understanding of various product systems
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
    • Project Management skills
    • Strong communication abilities
