    Broadway Malyan is a global architecture, urbanism and design practice dedicated to creating cities, buildings and places that will provide a lasting legacy.

    Every day, our designers apply their creativity, commercial acumen and sector insight to produce designers that meet the aspirations of our clients and create a strong sense of place.

    We currently have a vacancy for an Associate Director - Masterplanning position in our London studio.

    You must have an interest in creating and delivering high quality environments for a variety of clients across the world, and passion for creating spaces with a clear identity and strong story-telling qualities.

    The focus will be on the International markets, helping to expand the team and strengthen collaboration between urbanism and architectural units, as well as expanding the working relationship with other BM urbanism studios.

    Interest in research and new industry solution is expected, as well as ability to mentor and pass knowledge onto more junior team members.

    Knowledge of Middle Eastern market, its cultural and design context, as well as working environment – knowledge of the regional planning processes desired
    Strong management skills – ability to delegate, organize and lead complex projects and large team
    Understanding of workflows and industry software in order to manage the team and process efficiently and knowledgably
    Ability to travel abroad and coordinate work with other teams based remotely
    ability to manage project risks and flag those to the Director in charge in timely manner
    Interest and ability in managing projects in the BM's Business Management system
    Creative - with ability to hand sketch masterplans and urban design solutions
    Creative - in way of approaching projects, communication of ideas and way of working
    Calm under pressure especially when working to project deadlines

    Position offers growth and career opportunity, located in the heart of large, vibrant London Studio, as well access the wider international network.

    Due to geographic locations of ongoing projects travelling overseas is expected.

    Key Performance Indicators
    Promote BM via LinkedIn - increase presence and posting of relevant / possible projects
    Build own professional network - participate in industry events
    Develop skills in BM Business Management Systems to ensure smooth running of the projects.
