    Job Title:
    Freelance PMO Deputy - Offshore Wind Development in Europe

    Location:
    Remote, with occasional travel to project sites in Europe

    Job Description:

    As a Freelance PMO Deputy for Offshore Wind Development in Europe, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the successful execution of a large-scale offshore wind project.

    You will work closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) and cross-functional teams to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with all safety and quality standards.

    This is a remote freelance position with occasional travel to project sites in Europe.


    Key Responsibilities:
    # Project Planning:
    Collaborate with the project manager to create, update, and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
    # Resource Allocation:
    Assist in resource allocation and ensure that the right teams and skills are available to meet project milestones.
    # Risk Management:
    Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure that project risks are monitored and managed effectively.
    # Reporting and Documentation:
    Generate and maintain project reports, status updates, and documentation to keep stakeholders informed about project progress.
    # Stakeholder Communication:
    Facilitate effective communication between project teams, senior management, and external stakeholders.
    # Quality Assurance:
    Oversee the implementation of quality control measures to ensure that the project meets industry and regulatory standards.
    # Budget Management:
    Assist in monitoring project expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
    # Change Management:
    Help manage and document changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs.
    # Health, Safety, and

    Environmental Compliance:
    Ensure that all activities adhere to safety and environmental regulations.
    # Continuous Improvement:
    Identify opportunities to enhance project management processes and contribute to process improvement initiatives within the PMO.


    Qualifications:
    Proven experience in project management, preferably in renewable energy or offshore wind development.
    Strong understanding of PMO methodologies, tools, and best practices.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
    Knowledge of the European offshore wind industry and related regulatory frameworks.
    PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
    Flexibility to travel to project sites in Europe as required.
