    Business Development Manager

    One Big Circle – Derby

    Full-Time 37.5 hours over 5 Days

    £30k - £70k

    Formed in 2017, One Big Circle is a fast-growing Bristol technology company that provide "Intelligent Video" solutions. We focus entirely on solving real-world industry problems by fusing new technology in the field of Video, IOT, Cloud and AI providing end to end solutions which allow our customers to dramatically improve their operational efficiency and safety.     We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual to join our team to support the business in further growing our flagship award-winning product: AIVR. AIVR (Automated Intelligent Video Review) is a state-of-the-art video technology system used by thousands of people in the rail industry. AIVR has won dozens of awards and is recognised as the market leading solution, but we are building many more opportunities both in existing and new markets which will further accelerate our growth.

    Role Summary

    In this role you will be working from our new satellite office in Derby and will be working to grow business leads into opportunities and sales of One Big Circle's flagship product, AIVR and related services.

    You will take the lead on creating and building relationships with new and existing customers. This will typically involve working with potential customers to identify their needs and see how and where the AIVR Platform and related services can meet their needs. This will involve working on video conferences but mostly in person at customer sites.

    As part of the sales process you will be responsible for the creation of proposals, bids and business cases for upcoming opportunities and tenders. Where appropriate you will manage customer accounts and be responsible for maintaining ongoing license renewals with as many of these accounts as possible. You will work closely with our excellent technical team who will support your efforts in winning business.

    Responsibilities

    ● Working collaboratively within our wider team to deliver on One Big Circle's strategy and vision for growth.

    ● Engaging with existing or new customers in order to understand their challenges.

    ● Attending and exhibiting at industry events.

    ● Producing proposals and business case documentation.

    ● Managing customer accounts, including the license renewals process.

    Personal Qualities and Experience

    ● Excellent communication skills including presentation skills and written communications.

    ● Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

    ● Ability to use your own initiative and proactivity to identify and follow up business leads and opportunities.

    ● Proficient in use of Microsoft Office including Word, Powerpoint and Excel.

    ● An aptitude for understanding customer challenges and problem solving solutions.

    ● Rail industry experience and knowledge.

    ● Degree level qualification.
