    OPERATIONS MANAGER /CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER ( STREETWEAR BRAND)


    EAST LONDON
    SALARY UP TO £50K

    Our client is an independent ethical fashion label redefining streetwear for a new generation.

    Rising onto the UK streetwear scene with explosive impact over the last couple of years, The brand has created its own space within the current cultural sphere.

    Built from the ground up with a fierce community at its core and continues to elevate and recognise its greater purpose with people driving the brand from both the inside and out.

    The brand is now looking for like-minded, ambitious individuals to join the quickly expanding collective.

    The successful candidate will have at least 4 years experience working within the fashion brand industry in customer service/ logistics/ operations /Freight forwarders/ Warehouse and manage staff.

    Experience in Ecommerce online brand is essential for this role and managing a customer service team

    THE ROLE

    Logistics

     Managing a team of 4 in customer service


    • Maintain and manage all logistics activities, coordinating with internal teams, but also with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs, 3PLs and inbound
    • Ensure prompt and smooth processing of all inbound deliveries. Liaising with 3PL and freight forwarders to ensure all paperwork is received and processed in a timely manner to avoid unnecessary delays to the receipt of goods.
    • Manage 3PL distribution performance, on-time ship and cost targets
    • Ensure 3PL operations are planning for growth and business change (i.e appropriate equipment, staffing, training, storage, etc)
    • Communicate with warehouse and logistics partners to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day logistics
    B2C experience


    • Manage and develop the growing Community Experience team across all customer care for the brand
    • Lead daily customer care operations including tracking deliveries, managing orders and resolving customer issues and queries
    • Oversee and play a key role in supporting the community across different channels alongside the rest of the Community Experience Team
    • Drive the changes necessary to continually improve and build the best end-to-end customer experience in the industry
    • Provide meaningful insight to the wider team to influence the product roadmap
    Must haves:


    • A genuine love for the brand and understanding of our mission
    • 3+ years management experience in a similar B2C role within the fashion industry
    · Proficiency in freighting, logistics, 3PL and inventory management software

    · Extensive warehousing, stock control and customer service management experience


    • Highly analytical with strong Excel capability and passionate about continuous improvement, demonstrating an ability to test and learn.
    • Comfortable operating in an ever-changing environment and able to adapt and thrive in a high-growth start-up.
    • A positive can-do attitude; incredible community-centric mentality coupled with high levels of empathy
    • Current working knowledge and experience of utilising ticketing and Shopify systems
    • Ability to identify and solve repeat issues, demonstrating strong attention to detail
    • Comfortable with achieving and maintaining performance targets
    • Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly-evolving team environment
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

    Eligible to work in the UK

    full time /head office based role

    up to £50k depending upon experience
