- Identifying market trends and opportunities to develop the sales mission.
- Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect interaction towards achieving agreed business aims, including sales growth and profitability.
- Drive a value based sales approach promoting Power System products features and benefits through site surveys, effective analysis of the costs and energy usages associated with compressed air equipment (equipment data logging) and any other means.
- Maintain regular interaction with all customers, especially key distributor accounts.
- Develop strong customer relationships at all levels with all accounts and ensure an excellent standard of after sales service is provided.
- Provide sales data, monthly reports, and the timely recording of visit and action reports (including lost order reports) and analysis of sales performance against budgets.
- Attend company and sales meetings.
- Attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills.
- Writing up activity reports, monitoring sales reports, and revenue forecasts.
- Developing and maintaining a database of all contacts.
- Knowledge of compressors or similar industrial equipment.
- Results-oriented with ability of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Due to the growth of the company and looking to move into the industrial market, they are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to cover the South of the UK.
The purpose of the role will be to maximise and grow the sales of the Power System branded products including industrial air compressors and ancillary equipment across the UK through new and existing distributors, OEM's and other customers in accordance with agreed business plans & budgets.
