Business Development Manager - Road and Ocean Freight

Location:
Portsmouth

Salary:
Up to £50,000 (DOE) + Package

Full time:
Monday - Friday - 9:00am - 5:30pm

Are you a results driven, sales hungry business development manager, looking for a new role in Portsmouth? This role could be right for you.

My client is offering a fantastic package to help develop their Road and Ocean Freight division.

The right candidate will be an experienced and fully established sales-person who has worked previously for a UK based Freight Forwarder and have the ability to bring on accounts and business with knowledge and experience with Road and/or Sea Freight.

Key Responsibilities:
To develop and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing clients, offering excellent freight forwarding services.
To generate and follow up sales leads, visiting potential and existing customers to obtain new business at reasonable profit.
Be the forefront of the companies' development by promoting the business to new and existing clients

Requirements:
Freight Forwarding Sales / Business Development Manager Experience.
Road and Ocean/Sea Freight experience.
Freight Account Management experience.
Experience working for a UK based freight forwarding company.
Ability to bring business would be advantageous.
Hold a full, clean, UK driving licence.
