    Description
    A VC backed BioTech with a focus on the circular economy.

    The business are seeking a Part-Time Finance Director, likely 3 or 4 days per week, to take them through a Series B funding round and grow the finance function around significant scale up.

    The organisation have been running for over 15 years and are at commercialisation stage, this role will involve working with Grant and investor funding as well as being hands on building the team.

    Full responsibility for the accounting function, including managing 1 and building the accounting team
    Financial analysis with particular focus on cash flow
    R&D credits
    Ownership of corporate finance - particularly in regard to advancing to series B funding.
    Building relationships with senior stakeholders, presenting financial information to the board
    Ongoing process improvement and implementation
    Building banking relationships and growing business operations

    A qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA
    Senior level experience
    Exposure to building banking relationships and broad investment strategies
    Experience with raising finance - exposure to Grant funding will be highly desirable
    Desire to work in growing business within the BioTech sector
    Happy to work in tech type culture
