Exceptional Renewable Energy business based in Leeds currently have a truly exceptional opportunity for a career minded ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified finance professional to work across all head office functions to drive profitability, influence business development plans and growth strategies.

You will be joining them in a newly created role.

This position will play an integral part in shaping the next few years of the companies growth and give the successful candidate unrivalled career development.

Working directly with the Finance Director and alongside a variety of senior stakeholders across the business; your role will blend both the financial and commercial elements of finance including: * The role provides accounting support to the head-office, business growth and management teams.

You will be responsible for delivering advise to the budget holders on project cost allocation and reporting requirements for their significant annual spend

Providing accounting support to prepare monthly budget analysis, cashflow statements, aged creditors and aged debtors analysis.
Advise on contract terms (invoicing, settlement) including engaging advisers.
Supervising the junior accounting team to ensure successful development of the team
Regular meetings with budget holders and other stakeholders to review budget performance and outstanding commitments and expected forecast spend.
Preparing regular management reporting of corporate overhead. Update full year forecasts and other ad-hoc reporting required.
Financial administration of the head-office entity: including VAT reporting, and corporation tax compliance. Supporting the Statutory Reporting requirements for the project entities. Answering audit queries including development project entities.
Recharging costs to affiliates depending on financing and tax requirements.
Ensuring the appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained. Reconciling project and head office bank accounts.

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below qualifications/experience: * CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified.

Previous experience within audit/financial accounting within the profession OR Strong technical management accountant/financial accounting experience within fast paced dynamic organisations.
Career focused and wanting to develop towards Financial Controller and beyond.
