- Generating and closing opportunities with new customers
- Building effective, tactical and strategic level relationships with clients
- Creating focused account capture and development plans to maximise sales opportunities
- Establishing a strong pipeline of well qualified business opportunities, evidencing understanding and control of customer buying criteria and processes
- Acting as the client's single point of contact, assisting in the formation of business enabling IT strategies
- Providing proactive client value and thought leadership to customers /prospects in respect of technology and sector trends
- Developing effective investment modelling to evidence the ROI for client spend
- Collaborating and engaging regularly with strategic partners and vendors to leverage opportunities, stakeholders and in-direct networks and events
- IT services and solutions sales experience working across customers in the enterprise/corporate space, most likely in a managed IT services environment
- Background selling across a number of the following services and products - modern workplace, cloud, storage, connectivity, infrastructure, testing, ITSM, business intelligence, data analytics, cyber security
- Evidence of winning new logos with enterprise/corporate customers
- Existing and current stakeholder relationships across the enterprise sector in the UK
- Someone who is adept at business development and shaping of multiple opportunities
- Experience of Microsoft, Cisco and AWS solutions
- The ability to quickly develop a comprehensive knowledge of the customer's organisation and requirements
- Flexibility for full remote working with the ability to attend regular team and business meetings as well as the priority need of being available to travel to meet customers
